Growing up with a passion for music Barroness (Emma) played the piano from an early age and was a drummer in various bands in her youth. She was introduced to rave in the early 90’s and worked as a club promoter on the Manchester house scene before moving to London where she took up a career in TV.  After 20 years as a successful TV producer she decided to expand her talents and reignite her passion for music by DJing.

She has a special interest in House, Old School 90’s Remixes and Indie Rock but her eclectic taste and enthusiasm for all music means she can turn her hand to many styles including  70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, Classic Pop, Disco, Funk, Garage, Balearic, Chillout, Soul, R&B, Britpop, Current Pop and Current Dance music. With her ear for music and experience she can select the best tracks from every style keeping the vibe upbeat, energetic and ensuring a happy atmosphere.

Since taking to the decks 7 years ago Emma has stormed onto the London scene,co-founding The House of Happiness a successful day rave which runs at Fire in Vauxhall. She has also played at top london clubs including Ministry of Sound, Electrowerkz, Night Tales and Club Revenge in Brighton.
